Over the last 2 years, L-Space have done well in establishing themselves as one of the most desirable dream pop acts on the Glaswegian scene, and they now prepare to step it up to with their forthcoming debut album – Kipple Arcadia.
The quartet create some marvellous soundscapes with vintage vibes, provoking a tantalising atmosphere so calm and tranquil. The soothing harmonies are an essential element in this, being utterly enchanting and drawing the listener’s attention, and they go hand-in-hand with the warm electronics.
Lovely pianos, low-key guitar chords, and tender basslines and drum beats make up the rest of the instrumentations, and to top it off, there is a plentiful amount of creativity dripping from the great writing on display.
Kipple Arcadia is hands down one of the most dazzling, goosebump-inducing Scottish records to have emerged this year, proving that L-Space are ready for a spotlight much bigger than they are accustomed to, and deservedly so.
