Down in the sunny beaches of Newquay, Cornwall, something is a-brewing, and it’s certain to blow many people away, as rock trio Circle Of Crows get set to deliver their debut record – Everything Comes After Zero.
They immediately latch a firm grip on the listener and don’t dare let go. Josh’s bass lines are just so, so damn contagious – for sure some of the prominent bass work from a record this year – and when intertwined with Steve’s solid drumming, they make for a fearsome combo.
Meanwhile, Josh performs double duty with bold vocals and fiercely supreme riffs that regularly evolve throughout. There’s a constant energy, and when the guys kick it into high gear, it’s nothing short of phenomenal.
Capping off with a strong finale, this is an outstanding EP that is firing on all cylinders at 100% from end to end and, if given the proper attention it deserves, will prove Circle Of Crows to be the next big thing in music to emerge from the Westcountry.
