REVIEW | Lyndsey Craig: Nuclear Heart

For the second straight review, an Edinburgh singer-songwriter is under the spotlight – Lyndsey Craig. She first caught my attention with her single, Dynamite, and since then I’ve been quite the fan of her. Recently, she released an EP by the name of Nuclear Heart.

Without Your Love is a pleasing opener that presents us with the first showcase of Lyndsey’s great vocal and writing abilities. The lead single Blood Diamonds is up next, a catchy tune with a memorable hook and stand out guitar work.

Crave You is a really fun, quick-paced number with an intoxicating, toe-tapping rhythm and a heavy country influence; without a doubt the highlight of the record, that is soon followed by Wires which serves as a high-energy finale.

Four entertaining indie tracks, each with their own admirable qualities, make this EP a must-listen.
