REVIEW | Bryan Donoghue: Beautiful Chaos

Today we turn our attention to Edinburgh singer-songwriter Bryan Donoghue and his latest EP – Beautiful Chaos.

What we get here is a charming collection of folk numbers that are sure to get you tapping your foot, with the stand out highlights being The Waiting and Girl From Memphis, which are both upbeat, memorable tunes.

Many positive aspects are accounted for here: fluid vocals, acoustics on top form, smashing harmonica work and fantastic writing; Bryan having the listener hooked to every solitary lyric from start to finish. There is also a clear mod influence in the sound, which only adds to the quality of the music.

A simply likable record from a very talented gentleman with a bright future ahead of him.
