REVIEW | Forevr: Demonstration

My ongoing mission to find the finest music from across the world has led me to discover Australian shoegaze duo Forevr, who released their debut EP a few months ago by the name of Demonstration.

Yucatan is a hypnotic, ambient opening number that sucks in the listener from the immediate get go, followed by Heart Of Ice which is equally heavy on the atmosphere; one that is further accentuated by the faint, warm vocals residing in the background.

Midas At Night is a tune characterised by gentle riffs and a fluid, serene drum beat, which soon leads into a riveting conclusion in the form of Forgive.

The pair have produced an excellent record that provides an absolutely remarkable, tranquil listening experience that can be best described as other worldly. Here’s hoping we hear more from them very soon.
